This page explains what the site collects, why, how long it is kept and who receives it. We never sell data.
Data controller
CHARLES LIENARD & ASSOCIES SAS – TRANSFER PRICING ECONOMICS, 1 rue Jean Bart, 59290 Wasquehal, France, represented by Charles Lienard, president. For any question about your data: charles@protecteurcactus.fr or +33 6 60 47 31 89.
Quote requests
When you fill in the form, we receive: project type, number of trees, whether you are a private individual or a company (and if so your company ID number), delivery address, animals to keep away, your name, email, phone number and the site language.
This data is used to prepare your quote, call you back and, if you order, organise delivery. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
On the contact page, when address autocomplete is active, the text typed in the address field is sent to Google (Google Maps Platform) to suggest addresses.
Where your visit comes from
If you reach the site from an ad, your browser keeps for 90 days the Google click ID (gclid), the campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term) and the landing page. They only leave your browser if you send a quote request, which they are attached to.
Purpose: knowing which ads bring in requests. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Google analytics and advertising
Only with your consent, Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics and Google Ads, which set cookies to measure traffic and requests coming from ads. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
If you decline, no Google cookie is set. The site uses Google's Consent Mode: Google may then receive technical signals without cookies or advertising identifiers.
You can change your mind at any time: .
Videos
Videos are embedded in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode: YouTube sets no cookie before you start playback. Once a video plays, YouTube's (Google's) own rules apply.
What is stored in your browser
Your cookie choice: 6 months if you decline, 13 months if you accept, after which you are asked again.
Where your visit comes from (see above): 90 days.
Dismissed information banners: until you clear your browser data.
Site language (NEXT_LOCALE cookie): until you close the browser.
With your consent, Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies: 13 months at most.
Retention
A quote request with no follow-up is kept for 3 years after the last exchange, then deleted. Customer data is kept for the duration of the business relationship, then as long as accounting rules require (10 years for invoices).
Who receives your data
Charles Lienard, who handles requests.
Our service providers, each for their part: Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, Paris) delivers form emails; Start-Win hosts the site on an OVH server (Roubaix); Google (Google Ireland Ltd) for analytics and advertising if you accept, and for address autocomplete; the carrier receives the delivery name, address and phone number when you order.
Google may transfer data to the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, its correction or erasure, restriction of its use, object to its processing and ask for its portability. Write to charles@protecteurcactus.fr: we reply within one month.
If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL): cnil.fr.
Security
